      Registration and account setup for parents via SSO (WiBi)

      In this article, parents can find all the necessary information regarding the registration and configuration of their WiBi account.

      1. Registering a new account with SSO
      2. Linking multiple accesses to different children using one SSO account
      3. Connecting an existing account with SSO

      1. Registering a New Account in WiBi

      Make sure you have the current invitation code for your group available.

      • The invitation code consists only of numbers and lowercase letters.

      • The invitation code does not serve as a password for login.

      1. Download the WiBi app onto your smartphone.

      2. Open the app and select "Create Account".

      3. Enter your child's invitation code.

      4. Confirm the data protection agreement.

      5. Select your relationship to the child.

      6. Under "Create Account" choose "Login via the Stadt-Wien account".

      7. Enter the login credentials for your Stadt-Wien account.

      8. Follow the steps to complete the registration.

      2. Registering a New WiBi Account for Multiple Children

      Make sure you have all the current invitation codes for your groups available.

      • The invitation codes consist only of numbers and lowercase letters.

      • The invitation codes do not serve as passwords for login.

      1. Download the WiBi app onto your smartphone.

      2. Open the app and select "Create Account".

      3. Enter one of your children's invitation codes. It does not matter which code you use for the registration.

      4. Confirm the data protection agreement.

      5. Select your relationship to the child.

      6. Under "Create Account" choose "Login via the Stadt-Wien account."

      7. Enter the login credentials for your Stadt-Wien account.

      8. Follow the steps to complete the registration.

      Your account is now registered and linked to your Stadt-Wien login credentials via Single Sign-On (SSO).

      Now add the additional groups to your profile:

      1. Open the app.

      2. Select "Log in with Single Sign-On".

      3. Choose "Bildungsportal".

      4. Enter the login credentials for your Stadt-Wien account. You will now be logged into the app.

      5. From the home page/group overview of the app, you can "Add (more) Code(s)". You will find the button in the bottom left corner.

      6. One by one, enter the remaining invitation codes of your children to link the existing account with all groups.

      3. Linking an Existing Account with Single Sign-On

      You can link an existing FoxEducation account to a Single Sign-On (SSO) account under "My Profile".

      1. Log into the WiBi app using your existing login credentials (= your email and password combination).

      2. Go to "My Profile". You can find the button in the top right corner of the group overview/homepage.

      3. In the "Login" menu section, you can select "Activate Single Sign-On".

      4. Enter your current password and choose "Activate Single Sign-On".

      5. Select "Bildungsportal" as the SSO method.

      6. Now enter the login credentials for your Stadt-Wien account.


      From now on, you will log in exclusively via SSO in the WiBi app – using your previous email and password combination will no longer be necessary.
