Send an absence notification if your child cannot attend class or care.
Absences are visible to the FoxAdmins of the institution and all assigned teachers/educators of a class/group.
How do I send an absence notification?
- Open the app.
- Select the class/group in which you want to create a message.
- Click on the icon in the bottom right corner to send a new message or an absence notification.
- Provide the reason for the absence.
- Indicate whether the absence should be recorded for the entire day.
- Enter the time period for the absence.
- Click "Next" to select the caregivers who should be informed about the absence via push notification. The absence is visible in the inbox of all assigned colleagues.
- The absence notification, just like a regular message, will be confirmed by the recipients and listed in the inbox.
How can I edit an absence notification afterward?
- Open the class/group.
- Open the absence notification.
- You can edit the message using the pencil icon.
- Recipients can view the edit note and will be informed of the change via push notification.
