I am not receiving push notifications (Users)

If you are experiencing issues with receiving push notifications, here is an overview of the necessary configurations:

When a notification is confirmed by one recipient, the push notifications for other connected users will expire.

Update the App

  • Log out of the app.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app manually from your phone's App Store.
  • Log in and then click on "Clear cache and log out" under "My Profile". The cache can sometimes interfere with app functions.

Allow notifications for the app

  • Typically, you will be asked to allow this after reinstalling/clearing the cache, before starting the app.
  • Alternatively, check the system and notification settings manually through your phone's settings under "Notifications" and/or "Permissions".

Allow the app to run in the background

  • You can adjust or view these settings in the app under "My Profile" by selecting "Check battery settings".
  • Make sure that the battery saver mode for the app is turned off in your phone's settings.
  • Ensure that no restrictions are enabled for SchoolFox/KidsFox in your phone's settings, including power-saving mode, data-saving mode, or "Do Not Disturb" mode.
